SUPPORT FOR PARENTS & CAREGIVERS

Rediscover the parent you want to be.

You have tried being firmer, softer or more patient.
It works for a few days, then the same arguments return.

Perhaps you keep thinking: “I don’t recognise us anymore. We used to talk.

There's a way through it — and it starts with understanding what's happening between you.

WHAT BRINGS PARENTS HERE?

You love your child deeply —so why does parenting feel so hard right now?

You have read the advice and tried the techniques, yet the same situations keep recurring.

With younger children

Getting dressed, leaving the house, mealtimes or bedtime can become a struggle over the smallest thing. Your child’s emotions take over — and before you know it, you are overwhelmed too.

Ages 12+

With teens

Your child shares less, and every question seems to make them pull further away. Screens, school, friends and boundaries lead to the same arguments without anything really changing.

Within yourself

You react more strongly than you want to, then feel guilty when everything is calm. You may also disagree with your partner about limits, consequences or what your child needs.

BEFORE WE GO FURTHER

When parenting feels like surviving

Your parenting skills don't disappear.
Under stress, they simply become harder to access.

When something feels threatening, protective reactions can move faster than conscious choice. You may shout, become controlling, give in, withdraw or rush to fix the situation — even when you intended to respond differently.

The aim is not to become a permanently calm or perfect parent. It is to understand what takes over, create more space before reacting and know how to reconnect when things go wrong.

About the parental guilt.

Almost every parent who contacts me arrives fearing they have already caused lasting damage.

A difficult moment is not the end of the story. Repair matters. The possibility of doing something different is still available to you.

Your child doesn't need a perfect parent.

They need a parent who can return to connection.

If you'd like to understand what is happening in your family and begin creating lasting change,

I'd be happy to meet you.

HOW I WORK

The difficulty is not one person.

Family difficulties often live in the space between people. Each person’s response may make sense on its own, while the pattern between you keeps making things worse.

We aim co-regulation: your grounding becomes the anchor for theirs.

We explore three parts of that pattern:

Your child

What their behaviour may be communicating about emotion, development, stress or an unmet need.

You

What becomes activated in you, how to recognise it sooner and how to regain choice before responding.

The relationship

How to interrupt escalation while keeping both connection and necessary boundaries.

THE POSSIBLE TRANSFORMATION

Imagine family life feeling different...

From surviving...

    Reacting before you can think.

    Repeating the same arguments.

Feeling guilty and not good enough.

    Walking on eggshells at home.

...to feeling connected.

Responding with greater calm and intention.

Holding limits without losing the relationship.

Feeling more confident in your parenting.

Knowing how to repair after difficult moments.

Your child doesn't only hear your words.
They experience
your nervous system.

Lasting change begins by helping you regain access to the parent you already want to be.

WAYS TO BEGIN

Start with what the situation needs.

One focused conversation may be enough for a specific difficulty.

A recurring pattern may benefit from a more structured process.

Best for: personal concerns, a specific situation or support without committing to a programme.

Individual Sessions
Support for what parenting brings up in you

This space is for you — not for “fixing” your child.

Sessions can focus on:

  • Anxiety, stress and overwhelm.

  • Anger, guilt or emotional exhaustion.

  • Trauma and old patterns.

  • Inner conflict and nervous-system regulation.

Book one session at a time and continue at your own pace.

12-week parent programme

A structured process focused on what happens between you and your child

Across eight sessions, you learn to:

  • Notice what gets triggered sooner.

  • Regain your capacity to choose how you respond.

  • Hold boundaries without losing connection.

  • Reconnect after difficult moments.

Includes eight sessions over twelve weeks, personalised resources and a consolidation plan.

Best for: recurring parent–child patterns that need more than an occasional conversation.

Not sure which option fits?

WHAT IF YOUR TEENAGER NEEDS THEIR OWN SPACE?

Sometimes the most helpful next step is individual support for your teenager, beginning carefully and with clear agreements about privacy.

A parent conversation can take place before the work begins, and any later check-in is discussed with the teenager in advance.

The aim is to give your teenager a relationship of their own without leaving you completely outside the process.

For younger children, the work usually happens mainly through the parent, because you are often the most effective channel for change.

No one in the family is labelled as “the problem.”

Parenting far from where you grew up?

Parenting can feel harder when the language, school system or cultural expectations surrounding your child are different from those you knew growing up.

A limited support network and questions about Danish norms can add pressure to already difficult moments. These experiences are welcome in the work and treated as part of your family’s wider context.

Start with a conversation - You don’t have to solve this alone.

Beyond solving challenges, you leave with a lasting understanding of
your child, yourself and your family's dynamic

— one that keeps serving you long after the last session.

Thirty minutes, free, no session and no pressure.

You find out whether this is the right thing for you and your family.
